Brabus Academy is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in Lake Mary, Florida, founded by two Nova União world champions. It was built on a simple idea: championship standards, open doors. A place where families and athletes of every level can train, grow, and belong.

Brabus isn't a gym that name-drops a celebrity. It was founded and is run by two Nova União world champions — UFC Hall of Famer José Aldo and 7× World Jiu-Jitsu Champion Léo Santos.
They put their belts on the wall and their standards on the mat. The result is a room where a complete beginner and a competition athlete train under the same world-class instruction — disciplined, technical, and genuinely welcoming.

The roundel on the wall reads "Nova União · Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu · Since 1995." That isn't decoration — it's where both founders come from.
Nova União is one of the most respected systems in the sport, founded in Rio de Janeiro and home to some of the greatest fighters jiu-jitsu has ever produced. José Aldo rose through it under André Pederneiras. Léo Santos earned a 4th-degree black belt and seven world titles inside it. Brabus carries that lineage, unbroken, to Lake Mary.
