Confidence that lasts a lifetime.
Jiu-jitsu gives children far more than self-defense. In a structured, positive room led by world-champion standards, your child builds discipline, focus, and the quiet confidence that comes from knowing they can handle themselves — without ever needing to prove it.
What your child gains.
The mat teaches lessons a classroom can't. Here's what we see in kids who stick with jiu-jitsu.
Discipline
Routine, respect, and follow-through. Kids learn to listen, line up, and give honest effort every class.
Focus
Learning technique demands attention. That sharpened focus carries straight into school and homework.
Confidence
Real competence builds real confidence — calm, grounded, and free of the need to show off.
Resilience
Kids learn to lose a round, reset, and try again. They get comfortable being challenged.
Strong enough to stay calm.
Jiu-jitsu is the great equalizer — it lets a smaller person control a larger one through technique, not aggression. That changes how a child carries themselves.
- The skills to stay safe and de-escalate without throwing a punch
- Body awareness, balance, and composure under pressure
- Confidence that discourages bullies before anything starts
- A firm understanding of when — and when not — to use it
Structure, safety, and a real community.
A structured program
- Age-appropriate classes that meet kids at their level
- Clear expectations, warm-ups, drills, and games with purpose
- A belt and stripe system that rewards steady progress
- Coaches who hold the standard while keeping it fun
A positive community
- Respect for coaches, teammates, and self — every class
- Older kids set the example for younger ones
- A family room where parents are welcome to watch
- Friendships built on shared effort, not competition
Age groups.
Classes are grouped by age so every child trains with peers and is challenged at exactly the right level — in the gi and no-gi.
- Little Ninjas — ages 4–7: coordination, listening, and confidence through playful, structured jiu-jitsu.
- Little Warriors — ages 8–12: real technique, discipline, and the focus that carries into school and home.
- No-Gi kids classes for both Little Ninjas and Little Warriors on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
Discipline, respect, and community for every age and level — kids, adults, competitors, and complete beginners under one roof.
When do the kids classes meet?
Little Ninjas (4–7) and Little Warriors (8–12) train weekday evenings — 4:30–5:15 PM and 5:30–6:15 PM — with No-Gi on Tuesdays & Thursdays. See the full timetable for this week's times.
